The Efficacy Lab
Short-form video for Dr. J. César Morales, prepared by Zach Metzger at FounderYP.
The idea is simple. One filmed conversation a month becomes a month of short-form video for your LinkedIn.
People decide whether they trust a coach off a feeling, well before they read the details, and that feeling is hard to build with text on a screen. Video builds it before anyone books a call, with the people who never would.

What I see in your content
I read back through your LinkedIn before putting this together. A few things stood out.
The “Confidence grows when ___” hook
You already write for a reader who stops and fills in the blank. That instinct is what makes someone watch a clip to the end.
Curiosity, Clarity, Commitment
A clear sequence, not a pile of tips. A framework like that turns into a video series without much effort.
The school redesign stories
Real rooms, real teams, not theory. A story like that lands on camera in a way it never will in a paragraph.
A few video ideas I'm spitballing
Thinking out loud here, mapped to your own framework. These are video ideas I would want to explore with you, not a final list. One filmed conversation gets us most of them.
Why efficacy is more than confidence
Efficacy is the belief that what happens next can be influenced. Unpack what that means, and why it goes further than confidence.
Surfacing what matters beneath the noise
The questions that cut through expectation and urgency to find what a leader actually needs to move on.
Aligning who you are with how you lead
What changes when mindset, action, and direction finally line up behind one path.
Turning insight into disciplined action
Why insight alone stalls, and how follow-through turns a realization into real progress.
The Bold Path Forward Flow, start to finish
Curiosity, Clarity, Commitment as one flow. Your signature process in about a minute.
What the ringing of the bell taught me
A redesign story from the field, where intentional design beat just pushing harder.
From football coach to executive coach
Player, principal, district leader, coach. The game-tape mindset that carried through all of it.
Why I built The Efficacy Lab
After 20 years leading and researching change, why launch this now, and who it is for.
The quiet cost of misalignment
Success that still feels off. What it looks like when values and action drift, and how to close the gap.
What the output looks like
Here is my own launch video, my belief about why founders should show up on video, made in about a minute.
It is the clearest example I have of the editing and pacing. It is not a template though. Your style would be your own, and I would build the look around your brand, not mine.
How It Works
You show up once a month for a filmed conversation. I handle the planning, the filming, and the editing.
Plan
We start with a short call to find what is worth putting on camera. Recent wins, the opinions you hold strongly, the questions buyers keep asking you. You bring the expertise, and I turn it into talking points and a shot list for the shoot.
Based in San Diego. Every shoot in person, at your office.
What you get each month
A starting point, not a fixed menu. We would shape the exact mix around what you need.
short-form videos a month
About three a week. A steady posting cadence that keeps you consistent and relevant.
This part is collaborative. The number and the mix are a place to start, not a line I will hold. I would rather over-deliver and shape it around what is working for you.

About
I have been creating short-form content since 2019, across very different kinds of work: my own personal content, video editing tutorials, an education channel I grew to 230,000 followers, content for psychedelic-assisted treatment centers around the world, and music videos in LA for major-label artists like Diplo, Polo G, Jutes, Kylie Cantrall, and the All American Rejects. In all, my work has driven more than 200 million views across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
I tend to catch these waves early. When short-form took over the music industry, I was one of the producers artists in LA relied on for it. That same shift is now reaching the founder world, and almost no one serious is on it yet.
Why it's free
I am just getting FounderYP off the ground, and free work is the best way for me to get real reps, build a portfolio, and lock in how I do all of this.
It also helps that we already have a bit of history, and that you are early in building The Efficacy Lab, so this is a moment where I can genuinely help. If it goes well, I walk away with work I am proud to show, and a testimonial if you are happy with it, though there is no rush on that.
I would rather be straight about what is in it for me than let the free part feel like it has a catch.
Let's grab a coffee
We are both in North County, so the easy version is coffee on me. The fastest way to set it up is a text.
